MediVaced ("we", "us", "our") provides a learning platform for medical students. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: email, display name, and authentication provider (e.g. Google) when you sign up.
- Learning data: lessons started and completed, answers, XP, streaks, and progress.
- Billing data: subscription status and plan. Payment details are processed by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
- Technical data: basic device, browser, and usage information needed to run the service.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the MediVaced service.
- To personalize lesson recommendations and track your progress.
- To process subscriptions and manage your Pro trial.
- To send essential account and transactional emails.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with providers that help us run MediVaced:
- Authentication and database hosting (backend infrastructure).
- Stripe for payment processing.
- Email delivery providers for transactional messages.
4. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us; we will delete your personal data unless we are required to keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
5. Your rights

6. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is 100% secure; please use a strong password and keep it private.
7. Children
MediVaced is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or via email.
